Featuring Ed Kuepper, Dream On Dreamer, Hard-Ons, GL and a stack more

Naming a solid opening night headliner in Augie March only a month ago, Leaps & Bounds Music Festival has unveiled an epic 2017 program, featuring Ed Kuepper, Dream On Dreamer, Hard-Ons, GL and a stack more across its 10-day July event.

Beloved Aussie singer-songwriter Kuepper will celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Saints’ (I'm) Stranded with a conversation about the seminal LP and a By Request performance, while Sydney-based indie-pop favourites Hungry Ghosts reform for a headline show.

Storytelling comes in thick and fast with two intimate solo performances from The Peep Tempel’s Blake Scott and Dream On Dreamer host an all-ages matinee show.

The above artists alongside Dave Graney, New Savages, Lost Ragas, Broads, Ramshackle Army and more join previously announced elements Smith Street Dreaming, The Strange World Of Library Music and Augie March support acts Jess Ribeiro and The Pink Tiles as the festival enters its fifth year and welcomes new team members.

The Yarra City Council festival’s Sounds Of Winter program will kick off 13 July and will consume more than 50 venues.

“The City of Yarra is the beating heart of Melbourne’s live music scene,” Yarra City Mayor Amanda Stone said.

“Leaps and Bounds is one way that Council supports our local live music industry, showcasing our venues and artists and highlighting the wonderful contribution they make to the cultural and economic life of our city.”
