Happening next month!

The 2021 Leaps & Bounds Festival program has arrived!

The popular local event returns to its in person format this year (after heading online in 2020) happening across the City Of Yarra district from 16-25 July.

Included in this year's program highlights is the A Punters Club Reunion Gig, celebrating the much-loved venue that was a Fitzroy institution throughout the '80s and '90s. Programmed by Rich Moffat, the show will feature artists like Angie Hart (Frente), Bodyjar, Dallas Crane and The Meanies and will take place at The Fitzroy Mills on Rose Street, Fitzroy.

Recent Music Victoria Hall Of Fame inductee Mary Mihelakos has programmed the Fitzroyalty event featuring artists like Dan Sultan, 1200 Techniques, Swingin’ Sidewalks and more in a celebration of "the soul, funk, blues and hip hop legends of Brunswick Street", while The Killjoys will appear at the Jane Gazzo produced Fitzroy Town Hall gig where they will perform their debut album, Ruby, in full.

Smith Street Dreaming - an event "celebrating Koorie history in Collingwood and Fitzroy with performances by some of the best established and emerging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander musicians and artists" - will return for its ninth year, while Live At Charcoal Lane will see guests enjoy a sit-down catered experience while enjoying performances from First Nations artists.

Other program highlights include a roller disco, Music In Exile outdoor stage, BlakWiz 2021 live quiz show, music industry day in partnership with Music Victoria, a Record Store Day vinyl party and more.
