John Hillcoat directs as Ray Winstone stars

More Nick Cave Nick Cave Profile

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have today dropped a new video for their upcoming album, with collaborator and Australian director John Hillcoat directing the prostitute-themed Jubilee Street.

Hillcoat and Cave have previously worked together on films like The Road (Hillcoat directed, Cave and Warren Ellis soundtracked) and Lawless (Hillcoat directed, Cave wrote screenplay) and he also directed The Bad Seeds' video for Babe, I'm On Fire and Grinderman's Heathen Child. He has also directed videos for Depeche Mode, Muse, Placebo, Siouxsie & The Banshees and the video for the classic '80s Australian clip for Real Life's Send Me An Angel.

The Jubilee video stars English actor Ray Winstone – who featured in the classic UK TV series The Sweeny and its recent film re-make as well as a plethora of other things – and the track comes from The Bad Seeds' new album, Push The Sky Away, which will be released Friday 15 February through Bad Seeds Ltd and Kobalt.
