More Lauv More Lauv

American multi-platinum certified pop singer, songwriter, and producer Lauv is returning for a run in Australian theatre venues this October.

The Between Albums Tour begins at Perth’s Astor Theatre on Wednesday, 18 October, followed by an all-ages gig at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Saturday, 21 October, and stops at Melbourne’s Forum on Tuesday, 24 October, and Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Thursday, 26 October.

Lauv’s October Australian tour comes after his previous shows here in November 2019. Since then, the singer dropped his debut album, ~how i’m feeling~ in early March 2020 and his second album, All 4 Nothing, in August 2022.

Frontier Members can access the pre-sale on Thursday, 13 July, at 9 am local time, before general tickets go on sale on Friday, 14 July, at 10 am local time via the Frontier Touring website.

Lauv’s generational anthems have quickly amassed a massive 11 billion plays since launching onto the music scene with his 2015 debut single, The Other. His breakout hit, I Like Me Better, which saw Lauv gain two billion streams globally, peaked at #8 on the ARIA Chart and earned septuple-Platinum ARIA certification and sextuple-Platinum in the US.

On ~how i’m feeling~, the US pop sensation showed his collaborative side, recruiting the likes of Troye Sivan on I’m So Tired…, Anne-Marie on the double-Platinum ARIA certified smash ****, I’m Lonely, K-pop superstars BTS on Who, Alessia Cara on Canada, and more.

The Music remarked about ~how i’m feeling~ in an album review, “If you were to throw relatable emo lyrics, pop melodies and thumping hip hop basslines into a blender, you’d end up with the sweet taste of LA pop singer Lauv’s debut album How I’m Feeling.”

The 21-song release covers so much ground that it should be challenging to digest. Reviewer Emily Blackburn added, “Loneliness is a common denominator, referenced in the title of three tracks and even more so lyrically throughout (Killing my lonely nights with strangers’), but Lauv also navigates heartache, love, family and the general ups and downs of modern Millennial life.”

Blackburn’s review concluded that Lauv’s debut album is “emo-pop at its most vulnerable, where if you don't dance you’ll cry.”
