Laura MarlingEnglish folk artist Laura Marling will return to Aussie stages this year, as she heads out in a short run of shows around Perth, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane this October.
With her fifth release, Short Movie, in hand, Marling will play songs from all across her career with a full band. She'll first head to Perth's Astor Theatre on Friday, 16 October, then head to Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane.
At only 25 years of age, Marling has already wrapped her fingers firmly around three Mercury Prize nominations, a Brit Award for Best Female Solo Artist as well as a number of other nominations.
We last caught Marling on our side of the earth in July 2013 — in our review we thought, "What you see is what you get with Laura Marling, which tonight is a beautiful songwriter and performer who is completely honest."
