Dinosaurs are far from extinct...
After a brief hiatus and smashing back onto the scene with Dominos, “Australia’s greatest indie-pop export” the Last Dinosaurs are back with another new single.
With a nod to vintage Julian Casablancas the track returns to the band’s earlier guitar-driven sound while still finds itself grounded in the failsafe pop song structure they have made themselves known for.
Speaking about the song, frontman Sean Caskey spoke about The Strokes influence saying “We were at Splendour In The Grass a few years ago, watching The Strokes play and I was immediately inspired”.
“I went home and wrote this song on my brand-new Rickenbacker guitar, even writing my first proper guitar solo for the track, and it ended up being one of the first of a new batch of songs that informed our upcoming album.”
