Larry Cohen, maker of creepy low-budget horror flicks, will speak at this year's SPAA Fringe.
Legendary US underground filmmaker Larry Cohen will be the major keynote speaker at Screen Producers Associaton Of Australia's SPAA Fringe this year, joining Kylie Du Fresne producer of The Sapphires.
Cohen was a major player in the indie horror film movement of the '70s, and is best known for the Its Alive series , Q The Winged Serpent and God Told Me To.
Cohen has also found success in mainstream Hollywood, penning films such as Phone Booth and Cellular.
The 2012 SPAA Fringe will take place on Friday 26 October to Saturday 27 during the inaugural Cockatoo Island Film Festival.
