The Laneway Festival is back in 2014 for its 11th year of bringing the freshest, hippest and most awesome indie music to the shores of Australia from all over the world.
A quick look at the line ups they have assembled throughout the years shows that they really do set the pace as far as picking what's hot, so the announcement of next year's line up can't come soon enough, frankly.
We'll only have to wait three weeks, as the festival this morning announced that they would drop the line up on us on Tuesday 24 September – and they reckon it'll be pretty massive.
In the meantime, the dates and venues for the 2014 event have been set and announced, so grab your calendar and lock them in.
Adelaide and Perth audiences will experience new venues for the 2014 Laneway event, with more space and venues simply better suited to the Laneway experience now available to revellers in those cities.

Saturday 1 February - Footscray Community Arts Centre (FCAC) And The River's Edge, Melbourne
Sunday 2 February - Sydney College Of The Arts (SCA), Rozelle
Friday 7 February - Harts Mill, Port Adelaide
Saturday 8 February - Esplanade Park And West End, Fremantle
