Laneway Confirm SXSW Showcase Line-Up

Laneway Festival have announced the line-up for their South By South West showcase, with Glass Animals and Kirin J Callinan to play their fourth party.

The festival is fresh from a successful run of dates, where the likes of Lorde and The Jezabels helped sell out dates around the country, and they're returning to the massive showcase and conference event in Austin, Texas, once again.

As well as Glass Animals and Kirin J Callinan, D.D. Dumbo, Eagulls, Fat White Family, Forest Swords, Mutual Benefit, Perfect Pussy, Sohn, The Creases, The Range and Tourist are booked to perform between 11.45 and 5.45pm Saturday 16 March at Holy Mountain.

Entry free dependent on capacity, and there is an RSVP function through lanewayfestival.com.

Today the festival – which has Singapore and Detroit events – announced that they'd raised $40,000 for the Yiriman Project under the late Dean Turner's name. 50 cents from each ticket – and any $2 donation options taken up by punters – went to the project, which aids Aboriginal youth in the Kimberley region.
