Lady Gaga Inks Vegas Residency Deal Worth US$100 Million

"It's been my lifelong dream to be a Las Vegas girl"

More Lady Gaga Lady Gaga

It’s been revealed today that Lady Gaga is following in the footsteps of so many superstars before her by signing on to a two year Las Vegas residency.

As Variety reports, Gaga is set to perform 74 dates with the possibility of the extension, beginning at the end of 2018.

The deal is reported to be valued at nearly US$100 million with the Mother Monster herself set to pocket US$75 million over the two years.

Gaga announced the plan on her Twitter account this morning commenting “It’s been my lifelong dream to be a Las Vegas girl, I’m so overjoyed!”

In comparison, Britney Spears' two year residency at Plant Hollywood netted only US$30 million. The Pieces Of Me show has gone on to gross more than US$135 million since 2013.

Australian fans might be made nervous by the news, as it closes the already small chance that the Joanne World Tour will be coming down under, with European dates finishing up at the end of February.
