Combining equal parts melody and mayhem, US pop-punk / hardcore group FOUR  YEAR STRONG are heading to Australia for the first time! Their national headline tour will be tearing up the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Adelaide this June.

From beginning in the trenches of tiny venues and community centers in their hometown in Massachusetts, punk rockers FOUR YEAR STRONG are now packing 1,600 plus capacity venues internationally with their perfected formula of unrelenting spirit, gut-wrenchingly good music, and no flashy gimmicks. Their unique blend of brutal breakdowns and soaring choruses incites a riot like nothing seen before, leaving crowds both blown away and fired up.

Citing influences from Lifetime to Saves The Day, to New Found Glory, and at an average age of just 20 years old, the five members of FOUR YEAR STRONG have already made themselves known throughout circles of critics and fans. They were listed as one of Alternative Press’s ‘100 Bands You Need To Know in 2008’ and Rolling Stone’s ‘40 Bands You Need To Know’. Frequenting Purevolume.com’s Most Played charts and gaining nearly 2 million plays on MySpace – all by simply the making music that they themselves would want to rock out to.

FOUR YEAR STRONG are now in partnership with Decaydance Records (founded by Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy) joining the ranks of Panic At The Disco, The Academy Is… and Gym Class Heroes. Shock Records is set to release the Australian edition of band’s debut full-length album Rise Or Die Trying featuring an exclusive bonus track on May 3. With do-it-yourself determination, FOUR YEAR STRONG don’t pretend to be anyone but themselves - behind the numerous tattoos and grizzly beards, FOUR YEAR STRONG do not sugarcoat their image, avoiding the pretty-boy front that now seems to smother the pop-punk scene.
