“Yeah, 'happy' is probably not the emotion..."

Kylie Minogue has discussed her immediate feelings following the return of Neighbours.
Of course, she doesn’t begrudge cast and team members keeping their jobs on the long-running Aussie soap, but after appearing in its so-called finale, she wasn’t exactly happy to see Neighbours return so quickly.
In case you missed it: Neighbours ended after 37 years on the air last July, but by November, the series delighted fans with the announcement that it would come back.
To commemorate the “final” episode, Minogue and her on-screen husband, actor Jason Donovan, flew from London to Australia to reprise their roles of Charlene and Scott Robinson. Appearing on the Tay FM Scotland podcast with Garry & Steven, Minogue revealed that she was “miffed” after hearing the show was coming back.
“Yeah, 'happy' is probably not the emotion [about the Neighbours reunion],” Minogue said, while the three joked that the finale was a “waste of time”. The Padam Padam singer explained, “You know, 'miffed' may have been the word.”
She continued, "But I know, with the producer, he'd said, it wasn't [coming back]. They genuinely didn't know. So, all the affection and love that went into the final episode was the truth. I'm happy for them now and I'm interested to see how it's going to change.”

In mid-May, Kylie Minogue made her grand return with the UK mega-hit, Padam Padam. While Minogue has always had a foot in the dance scene, we’ve never really seen this side of her. New single Padam Padam oozes sexual tension, pop-heavy grunge and excitement for something ‘more’.
Earlier this week, she made a surprise appearance for 80,000 festivalgoers with an unannounced set at Capital Summertime Ball in London.
Performing on a bill alongside The Jonas Brothers, Ellie Goulding, Niall Horan and Calvin Harris, Minogue took to the stage despite being nowhere on the lineup.
She emerged from the stage singing Padam Padam, dressed similarly to how she did in the track's recently released video. Minogue finished her short set with her biggest hit to date, the 2001 pop classic Can’t Get You Out Of My Head.
Kylie’s surprise festival slot arrived as she enjoys her biggest hit in years with her new single, which this week sits at #12 on the British charts and #40 on the Australian charts. It's the first time Minogue has entered The Australian Top 40 in over a decade.
