Yeah, not gonna lie. Kubrick is part of a wave of music being released at the moment that is the future of heavy music.

More Kubrick More Kubrick

Late last year, a new artist came across my inbox and I started playing his music on The Faction. I loved his first track released, Painfall - and immediately got on to Zoom with Kubrick - AKA Sam Kubrick Finney to chat about it and his introduction into the world. He was previously in the band SHIELDS and has brought all his touring and recording and production experience into Kubrick.

He then went on to release single Devastate, and so continued the habit of releasing EXCELLENTLY produced and presented modern heavy music.

Now, he's released Mannequin - another brilliant track that also came with another incredibly produced filmclip. We are absolutely here behind Kubrick and we can't help but feel like this is the front of a wave of the future of heavy music. Highly melodic, edgy and angry, HEAVY as hell in parts, but all with a feeling that truly anyone could get into this music. To me, it feels cut from the same cloth as bands like Don Broco, Enter Shikari, Issues, Sleep Token, Spiritbox and more. Brilliant and full of integrity, but accessible. And I cannot get ENOUGH OF IT.
