Maintaining momentum from her recent single release Favourite Things, Kristy Coote has announced her debut album of the same name will be released on 20 May, along with some special shows.
While the album was written and recorded in Nashville, the title track was mixed by the Grammy Award-winning Commissioner Gordon.
The remainder of the tracks on the album were co-written alongside a selection of Australian singers and songwriters.
Coote's acoustic, rootsy brand of pop music has evolved through her work, which will be seen in her live shows starting this May.
