Kristen Schaal Remade Natalie Imbruglia's 'Torn' For You

The video clip is for Mikal Cronin's song 'Turn Around'

More Mikal Cronin Mikal Cronin Profile

Comedian and evil mastermind (by way of her Bob's Burgers character, Louise Belcher) Kristen Schaal has donned a short pixie wig and a grungey '90s hoodie to mimic Natalie Imbruglia's iconic video clip for 1997's Torn.

Schaal, along with her comedy partner/bestie Kurt Braunohler (and Paul Scheer (who you may know from FX series The League) have taken to the parody for American singer/songwriter Mikal Cronin's official video for Turn Around

The remake is uncanny, down to the deadpan stares into the camera, strained singing (or lip-synching) indicative of the quarter-life crisis Imbruglia was clearly having and the oversized dragon tank top.

What Braunohler, who also directed the clip, did get creative with was a dancing Kool Aid Man, a puppy and a fake baby — we're not quite sure why, other than the fact that the clip was produced as part of the $5K Video series, where artists get $5,000 to film a video however they want.
