Koi Child Announce Video And Tour Supports

"I could have sworn each band member fell down at least five times each..."

More Koi Child Koi Child Profile

Seven-piece band from Western Australia Koi Child have unleashed the video for their single 1-5-9 and have also announced the supports for their upcoming national tour.

The video for 1-5-9 is based on the brain and the two sides and the possible conflict between them. Filmed in South Fremantle where the band is based, the film clip appears naturally adventurous and dangerous.

The vocalist Cruz Patterson says, “I could have sworn each band member fell down at least five times each, while dancing on the beach sand in Freo. Not to mention the six foot drop behind us."

The self-titled album produced by Kevin Parker of Tame Impala is due to be released on 18 March to coincide with the tour dates. Support acts include Esese, Kashikoi, Astro Travellers, Vulture St Tape Gang, Winston Surfshirt, DJ set by Kevin Parker, Benjamin Witt, Kirin J Callinan, Old Blood, Lean Osborn, POW Negro and Joe Macc.
