The twenty year old Jamie Woods from Blenheim campaigned tirelessly for his favourite band to play in Christchurch on their upcoming tour in September, and was responsible for a petition which gathered over 11000 signatures in just one day.

Unable to make it to Christchurch to purchase tickets in person, Woods missed out on ordering tickets online. The disappointed Kiwi was however a good sport about missing out - "I'm absolutely slaughtered ... but I'm resigned to the fact I'm not going ... in the end I got what I wanted, that was for them to come down. I hope everyone else is happy, the lucky buggers."

The September 22 show sold out in five minutes while the ones for September 21 were gone in 28.
