The band called off their entire tour on Thursday.

More KISS More KISS

Despite calling off their Australian tour scheduled to go ahead next week, promoters have confirmed to The Music today that KISS will still head our way to perform one show... for eight people.

As reported by 7News, the rock legends will head to Port Lincoln in South Australia for an intimate show without frontman Paul Stanley who is recovering from influenza.

As part of a promotion with AirBnB, KISS will perform on a vessel on 18 November while fans will watch from a glass enclosure in the ocean where the group's music will be used to entice great white sharks.

"As KISS rocks out above water, you'll also get to see what's down under it," a statement on the AirBnB website reads.

"Watch from a glass bottom boat as the music attracts the legendary band's biggest (underwater) fans."

The Port Lincoln performance will now be the band's only concert in the country.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Stanley said of the tour cancellation, "Words cannot begin to convey our massive disappointment in having to cancel our End Of The Road tour of your incredible country. Our connection to you is unparalleled and decades deep.

“We waited as long as we could and held out hope to the last minute that my situation would clear up and we would be able to march forward. Doctor’s orders ultimately have taken precedence and finally we now find ourselves with no choice but to surrender. With heavy hearts, KISS.”
