King Of The North Drummer Undergoes Emergency Appendix Removal In Berlin

Get well soon!

Melbourne rock two-piece King Of The North have been struck with a bit of unexpected hospital time while on tour in Europe, with drummer/vocalist Danny Leo having to undergo an appendix removal in Berlin.

Making a statement on Facebook, the band posted the good news was that they "got him to the hospital before things got bad, the operation went extremely well and the doctors believe his recovery should be very quick," though they did announce the cancellation of shows in Munich, Warzburg, Gaildorf, Essen and Hamburg.

The band have been on a huge European tour since the beginning of September, with only a couple more shows in the UK to go before they head home.

Ok we've got good news and bad news. Danny had to have his appendix removed here in Berlin. Good news is we got him to...
