While we await their new album from Roadrunner Records — not to mention their imminent Aussie tour early next year with Soundwave Festival (all else being equal, anyway) — celebrated heavyweights Killswitch Engage have just released the video for their brand new song, Strength Of The Mind.

"We are very pleased to have Strength Of The Mind finally released," frontman Jesse Leach said in a statement. "It is a big moment to have this be the first listen to the album.

"The video visually captures a bit of the anxiety and chaos that the song touches on lyrically. It is almost a bit surreal and dreamlike with the camera effects, called 'whacking' It is always a pleasure to work with [production company/video directors] McFarland & Pecci, as they are both artists who give it their all with no shortcuts. Watching Mike [Pecci] work the camera live, while Ian [McFarland] paces around and directs, is a very involving and creatively satisfying experience."

Check out the end result below.

Strength Of The Mind, the single, is available at all digital retailers and streaming services now. More details as to the release of Killswitch Engage’s new album will be revealed shortly.
