Much-loved Brisbane record store Kill the Music have announced they'll be closing down early next year.

The independent store has been a fixture of Brisbane's heavy music scene for several years since opening its doors in 2006, stocking a wide variety of punk, hardcore and metal releases and merchandise, as well as clothing and footwear. The store also hosted appearances by the likes of Balance and Composure, Wil Wagner and Toy Boats.

Kill the Music will be officially closing on January 5, 2014. Be sure to stop by sometime in the next five weeks to support the store and pick something up while you can.
