Kidgeeridge is racking up the talent.

Due to the overwhelming level of talent displayed at the recent Kidgeeridge Music Festival Battle Of The Bands, the festival committee has decided to include the top three bands instead of just the winner on their festival line-up.

First place went to The Somedays, whose alt-indie sounds rocked the judges. Coming a close second were Quite Like Pete for their locally sourced high energy punk riffage. Ekko took the third slot, their haunting and original sound built on electronic folk sensibilities impressing more than just the committee.

The talented winners are joining some of Australia's best artists at the festival including Dan Sultan, Kingswood and The Black Sorrows.
