“Keep the house lights up. This next guest is The f***ing Wiggles.”
The Kid LAROI headlined a sold out performance at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena on Sunday night, with the global superstar bringing out an extremely special guest.
Aussie music legends The Wiggles joined the Kamilaroi artist on stage as his special guest. To fans' surprise, as he wrapped up his set, he stated, “Keep the house lights up. This next guest is The f***ing Wiggles.”
He welcomed Anthony Field, Jeff Fatt, Greg Page, John Pearce and Tsehay Hawkins as they ran onstage alongside Henry The Octopus. They went on to perform Toot, Toot, Chugga Chugga, Big Red Car, Hot Potato and Fruit Salad.
While fans basked in the performance, it was obvious that LAROI was having the best time out of everyone in the arena, dancing around the stage and metaphorically driving in a big red car.
The show was rescheduled after LAROI had to postpone due to contracting influenza. He definitely made it up for the audience though, pledging on the project last week that he would make the shows, “as special as possible," by having a couple of cool things planned for the make-up shows, which will be really cool, a couple of special guests, possibly.”
The show wraps up a massive, sold-out run of arena shows for LAROI. In a review published on The Music, we described the show as one that, "captured the hearts and imaginations of teens across the world with his commercial two-minute pop masterpieces and this End Of The World Tour was his triumphant return home".
