Flight FacilitiesIt's likely that you've either been counting the minutes until Splendour In The Grass, or it's completely crept up on you. Either way, if you're a Queenslander, now there are two really awesome ways to kick off a brilliant Splendour weekend — Splendour are hosting two official pre-parties, featuring the likes of Flight Facilities, Tkay Maidza, The Dandy Warhols and Dune Rats.
Both held on Thursday, 23 July, The Northern in Byron Bay will host Sydney duo Flight Facilities live, along with the energetic Tkay Maidza, Swedish reggae-pop artist Elliphant, Canberra self-proclaimed "acoustronic" act Valis Alps and Adelaide producer L.K. McKay.
If you can't get yourself down to Splendour, those at home in Brisbane can still check out the Splendour pre-party at The Triffid, led by cheeky American rockers The Dandy Warhols, Brisbane-bred Last Dinosaurs, the raucous Dune Rats and the UK's Circa Waves, who were crowned Glastonbury's 'Best Band' this year.
