KIAN Announced As 2018 Triple J Unearthed High Winner

After making his debut on Baker Boy's Cloud 9, KIAN has today been announced as the winner of this year's triple j Unearthed High competition, beating out four other entrants for the title.

"It's a near impossible task to separate the five finalists in 2018’s Unearthed High, all of whom would make worthy recipients of the crown," said triple j Unearthed Music Director Dave Ruby Howe.

"In the end though, KIAN stood out the strongest this year, emerging as one of the most promising voices in the country - high school aged and otherwise. It feels like just the beginning of this young artist's story."

Triple J have reported that KIAN is already working on his debut album, but will be flown to their studios to professionally record, mix or master his music as part of the prize.
