Kevin Smith Teases Jay & Silent Bob Appearance In Tusk Sequel

Popular US comedy duo Jay & Silent Bob have already announced that they'll be heading to Australia this September for a string of comedy shows, however writer and director Kevin Smith has teased fans with some very special plans for the duo. 

Fans of Smith will be familiar with the horror-comedy True North trilogy; the first being the 2014 released Tusk, the second and upcoming film, Yoga Hosers and the third which Smith is writing now, MooseJaws.

Smith took to his Facebook page to ask his online followers if they would like to see Jay & Silent Bob in MooseJaws.

"I'm working on the MooseJaws script now and just had an idea that'd make something fun and stupid even more so for me," he wrote.

"So the question on the floor is this: Should I mashup my movie-universes by bringing Jay & Silent Bob into #MooseJaws?"

If Smith is to incorporate the famous characters into the trilogy it will mark the first time that he has used the duo outside of the fictional universe, 'View Askewniverse' which, lets be honest, every Jay & Silent Bob fan want to see. 

Meanwhile, the long-awaited sequel to the 1994 film Mallrats is currently in production and plans for a third Clerks film are also underway.
