Reports claim the pop singer suffered sexual, physical, verbal and emotional abuse
Pop star Ke$ha has reportedly filled a lawsuit against her producer, Lukasz Gottwald, aka Dr. Luke, for acts of assault committed over the past decade.
According to Rolling Stone, the singer has filed a suit claiming Gottwald sexually, physically, verbally and emotionally abused her since the age of 18 when she first signed with him.
Earlier this year, Ke$ha opened up about her eating disorder and rehab, to which she claims was caused by harsh comments from Gottwald about her appearance.
"This lawsuit is a wholehearted effort by Kesha to regain control of her music career and her personal freedom after suffering for ten years as a victim of mental manipulation, emotional abuse and sexual assault at the hands of Dr. Luke," Ke$ha's lawyer, Mark Geragos, told Rolling Stone.

"The facts presented in our lawsuit paint a picture of a man who is controlling and willing to commit horrible acts of abuse in an attempt to intimidate an impressionable, talented, young female artist into submission for his personal gain. Kesha is focused on moving her life and her career beyond this terrible time."
Her case is requesting a judge free her from her contract with the producer.
Gottwald has responded by filing a defamation and breach of contact lawsuit, claiming Ke$ha has come forward with such allegations as a way to end her contact, reports say.
"We are confident that Dr. Luke will prevail in all matters, and that our client will be awarded substantial damages for this malicious conduct," Gottwald's lawyer told Rolling Stone.
