It's finally happened.
It took 15 long years but it finally happened — hugely popular '90s comedy duo Kenan & Kel reunited on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon in a skit which was performed as a throwback to their 1997 film, Good Burger.
It's been long rumoured since Kenan Thompson got picked up as a cast member for Saturday Night Live back in 2003 that the actor made an effort to distance himself from his long-term comedy partner, Kel Mitchell, especially given the fact that Mitchell also auditioned for SNL but didn't make the cut.
While Mitchell has maintained for years he would be up for a reunion, whether in the form of a live show, film or revival series, Thompson has remained mysteriously quiet on the subject since the pair's NIckelodeon program wrapped up in 2000.
Thankfully, Thompson and Mitchell killed any bad blood that they may or may not have had in the hilarious live sketch, which saw Mitchell reprise his fan-favourite character, Ed the Cashier, while Thompson played construction worker Lester Oaks, who he made famous on fellow Nick show, All That - the added bonus of Fallon joining in on the skit didn't hurt either.

We can only speculate if this will lead to future Kenan & Kel projects, though it seems to be perfect timing for the pair if they were to reunite in some form since the TV network's recent announcement for plans of a channel completely dedicated to its '90s classics, including Rugrats, CatDog and Hey Arnold!.
In the meantime, fans can catch Mitchell on Nick's new live-action gaming sitcom Gameshakers, while Thompson will resume his SNL duties starting on 3 October, in what will be the show's 41st season.
