“We’ve got all the bells and whistles: pyro, special effects... we’ve even still got some of the moves!”

Boyzlife – the dynamic duo of Keith Duffy (of Boyzone fame) and Brian McFadden (Westlife) – have announced a new tour of Australian theatres, with nine shows on the itinerary for next April.
The tour will begin with back-to-back shows in Melbourne, Newcastle and Sydney over April 2-5, with the following week taking the pair to stages in Wollongong, Penrith, the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth (see below for the full list of dates and venues).
Tickets for all of the shows go on sale this Thursday (August 1) – head here to grab yours.
In a press release, Duffy says the Boyzlife tour was first conceptualised as his and McFadden’s vehicle “to do an autobiographical show”. He explained: “We wanted to tell our life experiences through the music rather than write in a book. So we created Boyzlife! Now our collaboration brings together the nostalgic appeal of Boyzone and Westlife, together with an amazing live show.
“The shows just continue to grow! We have a full live band behind us. We’ve got all the bells and whistles: pyro, special effects... we’ve even still got some of the moves! It’s pure fun.”
The excitement was shared by McFadden, who said in a statement of his own: “We’re just hoping that the memories and melodies will give you a bit of enjoyment and that people will sing along. Hopefully, it will put a smile on people’s faces. We’re just trying to make people happy again.”
