Grammy-nominated group KATSEYE are heading to the big screen, and fans can now purchase tickets to view their new film.

Featuring members Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Manon Bannerman, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza, and Yoonchae Jeung, KATSEYE – with members from the Philippines, South Korea, Switzerland, and the United States – are recognised as a global girl group.

The six-piece was formed through the 2023 reality competition series Dream Academy, a collaboration between HYBE and Geffen Records. The Netflix docuseries, Popstar Academy: Katseye, also chronicled the group’s formation.

KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS arrives in cinemas ahead of the release of the group’s upcoming EP, WILD. The film lands in cinemas on Wednesday, 12 August, and follows the band’s journey into their bold new era, while celebrating the fans who have supported them for years.

The film features never-before-seen footage, fan videos shot by fans (named EYEKONS), interviews with band members, and explores the bond between KATSEYE and their global fandom.

KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS showcases the band’s evolution: from the pressures of Dream Academy to experiencing chart-topping success, setbacks, sacrifices, and more, taking the group to the Coachella stage among their many achievements.

The film is produced by Interscope Films and Boardwalk Pictures, in partnership with HYBE X GEFFEN, and directed by Nadia Hallgren.

“KATSEYE’s first-ever cinema event celebrates the passionate EYEKONS community that has embraced KATSEYE’s journey from the group's formation to becoming one of pop’s most exciting new global acts,” Kymberli Frueh, EVP of Programming and Content Acquisitions for Trafalgar Releasing, commented in a statement.

“We are excited to bring the fandom together in theatres around the world for a shared, immersive experience.”

KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS is being shown in Australian cinemas from next month. You can find the closest cinema to you and secure your tickets here.

The group’s third EP, WILD, will be released on Friday, 14 August, via HYBE x Geffen Records. The follow-up to the band’s 2025 EP, BEAUTIFUL CHAOS, which landed in the top five of the Billboard 200, will see them go on tour in September.

In May, KATSEYE came to Australia for the first time, and it wasn’t just a press junket. The band played a one-off, free show at Melbourne’s Festival Hall.
