Melua's 2024 Australian tour dates accompany her addition to the Bluesfest Byron Bay line-up.

Georgian-British blues artist Katie Melua has announced her first Australian headline shows in 19 years. The concerts, presented by Bluesfest Tours, accompany Melua’s addition to the Bluesfest Byron Bay 2024 line-up.
Melua will perform at Bluesfest Byron Bay over three days – Friday, 29 March, Sunday, 31 March and Monday, 1 April, and has locked in two sideshows.
Sydneysiders can see Melua perform at the City Recital Hall (as part of their Singular Voices series) on Wednesday, 3 April, while Melburnians can catch her at the Northcote Theatre on Thursday, 4 April.

Last year, Melua released her ninth album, Love & Money. Described as “a stunning and personal 10-track glimpse” into her life and artistic journey, Melua teamed up with producer Leo Abrahams and recorded the album at the Peter Gabriel-owned Real World Studios.
She’s an ECHO and Goldene Kamera award winner and a BRIT Award nominee. In addition to her excellent discography, Melua has participated in charity work – she performed at Band Aid 20, acted as a goodwill ambassador for Save The Children, and has been a patron of the charities Fair Trees and Manx Cancer Help.

From 2003 until 2012, Melua was the top album-selling female artist in the UK and Europe. In total, she’s had eight top-charting albums: Call Off The Search, Piece By Piece, Pictures, The House, Secret Symphony, Ketevan, In Winter and Album No. 8.
