More Kanye West Kanye West

A new multi-part documentary chronicling prolific US rapper Kanye West is set to hit Netflix next year.

Directed by filmmakers Chike Ozah and Clarence Simmons - known professionally as Coodie & Chike - Jeen-Yuhs will showcase the last 21 years of West's incredible career.

The series was reportedly acquired by Netflix for a whopping 30 million dollars US - and while the Gold Digger performer is not directly involved in the project, he did give permission for Coodie & Chike to make Jeen-Yuhs owing to their previous collaborations on West's Through The Wire and one of the versions of the clip for his tune Jesus Walks.

Netflix premiered the first look at the series during their inaugural Tudum event - which showcased the best in current and upcoming content for the platform. The teaser trailer sees West in a piece of behind-the-scenes footage alongside Yasiin Bey (FKA Mos Def), with the two performing an a cappella rendition of their track Two Words.

While no official date has been confirmed, Jeen-Yuhs is set for premiere sometime next year. Check out the first trailer below:
