Junkie Kid Announces Debut Australian Tour Details

Junkie Kid set to bring his combination of hardstyle and house to Australia this May.

More Junkie Kid Junkie Kid

Neo-hardhouse DJ and producer Junkie Kid has revealed the details of his forthcoming five-date debut Australian tour.

The Mexico-born, Spain-raised musician will bring his combination of hardstyle and house to local venues for the first time in just over a month, with show destinations lined up from Thursday 18 May including the Sunshine Coast, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane and Newcastle.

Junkie Kid started producing his own music at 16, influenced by the likes of DJ Sammy, Mauro Picotto and DJ Quicksilver. He broke through with his debut EP in 2013 and did massive business with his track Krakatoa, racking up over a million streams for the tune.

He has since collaborated with Carnage — with whom he shared the stage at Ultra Music Festival in Miami — as well as Sandro Silva and Kayzo, and done remixes for DJ Snake and Yellowclaw. And now he's bringing his talents Down Under.
