Julia Jacklin Announces Impressive List Of Local And International Signings

Blue Mountains-bred folk artist Julia Jacklin has so many signings to announce our heads may just implode. The emerging artist has come out with news that she's penned a label deal with Liberation Music in Australia and New Zealand, as well as a publishing deal with Mushroom Music.

That's not all — Jacklin's making a mark in the UK and USA as well, having signed deals with UK/Europe's Transgressive Records and North America's Polyvinyl Records, home to acts like Flume, At The Drive-In, Foals and Two Door Cinema Club (Transgressive Records) and Alvvays, American Football and Beach Slang (Polyvinyl Records).

Liberation's MD Warren Costello says, "We’re so excited to have Julia a part of the Liberation family. We all fell in love with Pool Party the minute we heard it, and can’t wait to unleash her debut album later in the year."

To support the impressive deals she's just penned, Jacklin and her lovely mournful voice will be making her way around on a world tour taking in a bunch of US dates from August through to October, as well as across Europe from October to November. She'll be back on home ground just in time for Queenscliff Music Festival on 25 — 27 November.
