The Godfather of Dancehall is coming our way.
Reggae legend Johnny Osbourne and Federation Sound co-founder Max Glazer are teaming up for a joint Australian tour scheduled to kick off next month.
The two musicians will commence their string of national shows in Melbourne on April 22, followed by stops in Perth, Sydney and Byron Bay, as well as a quick stop in Auckland throughout the following week.
Osbourne, also known as the 'Godfather of Dancehall', rose to fame in the '70s and '80s through a number of hits including Buddy Bye and Ice Cream Love, while Glazer has worked with a number of big-name artists in recent years, most notably Rihanna, who he took on the role of musical director and DJ for over a three-year span prior to her bursting on to the international scene.
Tickets for all shows are on sale now.
