John Jarratt Joins His Directorial Debut, StalkHer, On Tour

Leading up the theatrical release of John Jarratt's directorial debut, StalkHer, 27 Aug, he and co-director and leading lady Kaarin Fairfax will be travelling the country to introduce advance screenings, conduct Q&As and join fans for the odd round of karaoke.

Jarratt performs an original track, Killer In Me, in the film's closing credits, while Fairfax recorded in the 1980s as Mary Jo Starr. The pair will hit the local pubs in selected towns and invite preview audiences to compete with his formidable set of lungs in after party karaoke competitions. Released in almost 50 cinemas, the pair will aqccompany the film, best described as a dark, demented look at love, sex, and kitchen renovations, from Geelong to Townsville and Sydney to Perth.
