"I will burn for you."
Fans of John Farnham were worried senseless and confused this afternoon when the singer’s name started trending on Twitter.
Fortunately, the beloved Australian icon is doing fine and his sudden rise in Twitter popularity can be attributed to Scott Morrison, who slipped a passing reference to Burn For You into his final major speech before election day.
"I will burn for you every day, every single day, so you can achieve your ambitions, your aspirations, your desires," Morrison said.
Of course, Burn For You is also the name of a song by INXS, which has also led to fans debating whose is the better track.

John Farnham trending & I nearly panicked. Apparently ScoMo was mentioning burn for you. Now the debate is was it Farnsy or INXS & who’s is bigger. I will go Farnsy cause I would put it in his top 10-15 songs where as I wouldn’t put INXS burn for you in their top 10-15 songs.
