STREATbeats hope to bring the stories of homeless youth to the spotlight through music.
JMC students and staff members will be assisting with the production of tracks written and performed by disadvantaged youth through the STREATbeats program.
JMC and STREAT believe that the songs will not just create awareness for homelessness by delivering the message through a different means, but will also help develop a better future for those involved in the program.
STREAT is a Melbourne based social enterprise founded in 2009, who are working with Danish producer and singer/song-writer Nicole Wheatley to co-write the collection of songs for the STREATbeats program.
