Jess RibeiroMelbourne singer-songwriter Jess Ribeiro has signed with Barely Dressed Records/Remote Control, detailing her new record and dropping its lead single.
Folk-country single Kill It Yourself is the title track from her forthcoming record which drops in August.
The new tune follows on from 2012’s debut album, My Little River, and was the result of a collaboration with Mick Harvey.
My Little River was awarded ABC Radio’s National Album Of The Year, at the 2012 AIR Awards’ Best Country Album and was shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize, and Kill It Yourself promises big things.
To give fans a taste of what to expect from the rest of the album, Ribeiro will play Old Bar in Melbourne every Sunday in July as part of a month-long residency.
