Jess Ribeiro Announces National Tour In Support Of New Album

In support of her forthcoming album Kill It Yourself due out next month, Melbourne singer Jess Ribeiro has announced a national tour to commence just a week after the record's release. 

Ribeiro will hit the road with her live band for the first show to take place in Sydney on Friday 4 September. From there she will travel through the country to perform shows in Canberra, Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne. 

Meanwhile to give a fans just a taste of what to expect from Kill It Yourself, Ribeiro has just dropped the second single from the record entitled Hurry Back To Love, which was produced by Mick Harvey who has worked with acts such as The Bad Seeds and The Birthday Party.

"I wrote Hurry Back to Love on a scrap of paper after having an argument with my boyfriend over the phone," Ribeiro said of the new song. 

"We were far away from each other. I started playing the song on keys, which was new for me. When I eventually took it to the studio, Mick Harvey and James Cruickshank (of Cruel Sea) really helped me develop it."
