Jens Lekman Returns To Australia

But just for a tour this time.

More Jens Lekman Jens Lekman

The whole cliché of "he's no stranger to our shores" takes on a whole new meaning with Jens Lekman, the Swedish musician having spent a great deal of time in Melbourne over the past couple of years, tales of which you can hear in his much-lovedAn Argument With Myselfsingle from last year.

He's back in Sweden now but is keen to get back to our country as he tours the globe on the back of his recently released  much I Know What Love Isn't LP.The record, his third longplayer, has been scoring some pretty tidy reviews across the board with critics and fans alike welcoming his return to the studio after half-a-decade without a new album.

Last night he was announced as a part of the mammoth Perth Festival bill, but he's confirmed that he'll be getting to plenty of areas around the country while he is in the country and he will have his whole band with him, smashing out charming chamber pop with the delectably quirky lyrics that Lekman has become so renowned for.

You can see Lekman and band at the following shows:

Thursday 14 February - Oxford Art Factory, Sydney
Friday 15 February - The Garden Party, Southbank, Melbourne
Saturday 16 February - The Zoo, Brisbane
Monday 18 February - The Festival Gardens, Perth International Arts Festival
