The pair of celebrated chanteuses will set off for a co-headline run of shows from mid-January

Aussie singer-songwriter Jennifer Kingwell is teaming up with frequent collaborator Plum Green to embark on a joint set of shows as The Night Terrors for a shared headline tour from mid-next month.

Billed as "a shared lyrical seed … that will see the pair performing their own original material, as well as interpretations of each other's songs and duet performances of shared inspiration and idols", The Night Terrors Tour kicks off across the ditch with a pair of shows in New Zealand on 15-16 January. From there, the talented twosome will take their tricks to Collingwood (Grace Darling Hotel, Friday 22 January), Ballarat (Bar Babushka, 23 January), Adelaide (The Wheatsheaf Hotel, 25 January), Marrickville (Newsagency, 28 January), Brisbane (New Globe, 4 February), Canberra (Smith's Alternative Bookstore, 7 February) and Melbourne, where they close out the run with a performance at The Toff In Town on Sunday 28 February.

Kingwell comes to the fresh collaboration hot on the heels of the deluxe-edition release of her acclaimed EP The Lotus Eaters, while Green has a swag of new material to share with Aussie and Kiwi fans alike from her recent EP Karma.

Pre-sale tickets are available now via The Night Terrors Tour website; passes will be on sale at all shows as well. Supports are yet to be announced, with the exception of Marrickville's and Canberra's shows, which will be opened by Jonathan Devoy and Alice Cottee respectively.
