Jeff Loomis, Keith Merrow writing album together

Nevermore guitarist Jeff Loomis has teamed up with musician Keith Merrow to write a collaborative instrumental metal album together under the name Conquering Dystopia.

Loomis and Merrow have enlisted Alex Webster of Cannibal Corpse to perform bass guitar on the album, while The Faceless' Alex Rudinger will be handling drumming duties.
