Looks like you'll need Tidal to listen to Jay Z's full catalog

Jay Z, business mogul, rapper and co-owner of Tidal, has pulled nearly his entire catalog from rival streaming service Spotify, as Tidal continues to trail behind streaming leaders Spotify and Apple Music.

As Hollywood Reporter writes, the removal of content appears to have happened over the weekend, leaving only a handful of singles, the rapper's first three records, 1996's Reasonable Doubt, 1997's In My Lifetime Vol. 1 and 1998's Vol. 2… Hard Knock Life, and a 2010 Live At Coachella album on offer.

Billboard reports that Spotify has confirmed, "some of his catalog has been removed at the request of the artist."

Spotify is still leading the industry with their streaming offering with approximately 50 million subscribers, with Apple Music coming in at second with 20 million subscribers. Tidal, launched in 2015 with the help of music heavyweights like Rihanna, Kanye West, Coldplay and Daft Punk, has reportedly 3 million subscribers, sitting alongside Deezer and Napster.
