“Jaxsta was created to meet the need for a globally recognised comprehensive database of official credit information."

ASX-listed company Jaxsta has launched a public beta of its new music database platform which is positioned as "the world’s largest source of official music credit information".

Set to revolutionise credit information in the music industry, Jaxsta was launched in 2015 by Jacqui Louez Schoorl and Louis Schoorl and contains more than 100 million music credits.

The database is content-owner supplied not crowd sourced and, as per the company's mission statement, wants "to give credit where credit is due".

Jaxsta is set to continuously grow and is expecting to increase the number of credits by 30% before the beta stage concludes.

“Jaxsta was created to meet the need for a globally recognised comprehensive database of official credit information," said Jacqui Louez Schoorl, Jaxsta’s Chief Executive Officer.

"With the launch of our open beta we are proud to unveil what promises to be the world’s largest source of official music credit information, and the platform which gives artists, musicians, songwriters, producers, engineers and all involved with the creation of music ‘credit where credit is due.’
