Donkey Kong has never rocked so hard

Cheeky buggers of heavy rock Japam have released a video for new single DK Facepunch ahead of a mini-tour of hometown Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.

The clip features the band tearing through the banger of a track in a laboratory while apes (presumably the titular DK, or Donkey Kong) attack the guys and destroy their gear. The song is off the How's My EP? EP, due for release on Friday, 13 May, and, in the immediate wake of its release, Japam are ready to hit the road on their very own headline mini-tour.

The quintet will be supported by Indiago, The Brothers Grimm and Skythief at Adelaide's Enigma Bar on Saturday, 14 May, Myyth, Aburden and Unlucky at Melbourne's Brunswick Hotel on Saturday, 21 May, and Bad Moon Born and Raised As Wolves at Sydney's Oxford Art Factory on Saturday, 28 May.

The Adelaide show is $10 on the door, the Melbourne show is a free gig and tickets to the Sydney show are available at Moshtix.
