The xxFollowing the announcement of a brief Australian tour in support of a new record, The xx's Jamie xx has today announced solo shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
Real name Jamie Smith, he has ridden the rise of The xx to launch a reputation as one of the UK's hippest producers. Last year he released remixed Gil Scott-Heron'sI'm New Here, in its entirety onWe're New Here.
With the tour slated for July, he'll step out for two solo shows, one in Sydney and one in Melbourne.

Tuesday 17 July - New Guernica, Melbourne
Thursday 19 July - GoodGod Small Club, Sydney
