JamGrass Music Festival Unveils Final Line-Up

Melbourne-based bluegrass/new grass/alt-country/rock fiesta JamGrass Festival has shored up its final roster of acts for 2014’s eagerly awaited event, following its initial announcement early last month.

With three days of revelry to cover – to be MCed by author and ex-Rolling Stones/Grateful Dead manager Sam Cutler – the festival, proudly presented by The Music, has gone all-out in securing its impressive spectrum of artists, which had its seeds planted in September with the revelation of Mustered Courage, Perch Creek, Marlon Williams and more as leaders of the charge.

That esteemed cabal will be beefed up by the addition of the likes of Tracy McNeil + The Goodlife, Green Mohair Suits, The Bombay Royale’s Parvyn and Josh Bennett, Willow Darling and Kelly Day and Jane Hendry (of The Nymphs) performing under their new Broads moniker.

The weekend of wonderment kicks off in spooky style on Friday, October 31, with a two-stage Halloween Party fronted by Mustered Courage, Raised By Eagles, Skyscraper Stan And The Commission Flats, and West Australian debutants The Seals.

Tickets for the 2014 JamGrass Festival, held October 31-November 2 at the Thornbury Theatre, are available now (and limited, so move quickly).
