First track released off his upcoming sophomore album.

Eclectic Perth singer-songwriter James Teague has released the first haunting single off his upcoming sophomore album, and announced a string of August tour dates to support it.

The new song, Heaven, is a floating and ethereal selection from his next album, and the first taste of fresh music we've heard from him in the last two years since the release of his debut album, Lavender Prayers.

Teague's poetic writing style is inspired by literary figures like Dylan Thomas and Edgar Allen Poe, but shifts between somber country, bluegrass, and wispy folk aesthetics.

He'll be playing shows in small venues across Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Rous Mill, Katoomba, and Sydney.
