Millennials taking on the issues that matter.
Jake & Ella – aka best mates and millennial comics Jake Glanc and Ella Kamer – return to Melbourne comedy stages with their sell-out Melbourne Fringe 2017 sketch show, Twenties.
The 20-something duo use their hour to explore the struggles of millennials like themselves – lumped with a useless degree they don’t want, and heady dreams they don’t know how to pursue.
The night of surreal sketch, musical theatre, absurd props and bizarre videos goes deep on the issues that really matter: like UberEats’ extortionate booking fee, unpaid internships, the fact Maccas soft serves cost a whoppin’ 60c now, and the perils of online dating.
An issue that absolutely does not matter? Not weighing your bananas at the Coles self checkout. It’s a victimless crime.
Twenties answers the tough questions – “Why are we here?”, “Who do I want to be?” and “When will Sex And The City finally be available on Netflix?” – at its MICF debut in late March.
